How to Edit Team Settings in Hipcall

In Hipcall, you can route calls to a team based on your preferences. Team settings allow for random routing, routing to users with the least talk time, or priority-based routing.

How to Edit an Existing Team in Hipcall

To update the settings of a team you've already created:

  1. Go to Settings > Teams

  1. Click the Actions button next to the team you want to edit.

  1. In the General Info section, update the team's internal extension number, name, and welcome/waiting announcements, then save.

  1. In the Users section, configure the team's call strategy and assign team members, then save.

  1. In the Queue Number section, enable queue position announcements for callers when all team members are busy. Set the language and interval, then save.

  1. In the Callback section, allow callers to request a callback instead of waiting in the queue. Define the keypress trigger and the callback action (task, email), then save.
