Missed calls, sometimes referred to as abandoned calls in other PBX systems, can be tracked using the follow-up feature. This allows you to monitor the response time for missed calls made to your PBX number.

What Is Automatic Follow-Up for Missed Calls and How to Configure It

Missed calls, sometimes referred to as abandoned calls in other PBX systems, can be tracked using the automatic follow-up feature. This allows you to monitor whether a missed call to your PBX number was followed up—for example, whether your customer representatives returned the call and how many minutes later the callback occurred.

To activate the automatic follow-up feature:

  • Go to the General section under the Phone System heading in Settings.

  • From the left-hand menu, navigate to the Missed Call Tracking page.

  • Enable the feature and set the time threshold.
    If you are out of office on weekends, it is recommended to set this to 72 hours.
