What are the PBX commands in Hipcall?
During calls made from your extension, you can send commands such as transferring a call to another extension, pulling an incoming call to your own device, or initiating a callback by using specific key combinations on your PBX system.
1. Call Pickup
This feature can only be used when a user's phone is ringing. For example, it does not apply to calls routed to a call group.
- To pick up the last ringing call: dial
*88to pull the call to your own extension and answer it. - To pick up a call ringing on a specific extension: dial
*88 + extension_number.
Example: If a call is ringing on extension 1005 in another room and you want to answer it from your own device, dial*88+1005from your client.
2. Call Monitoring
This feature is available only in the Hipcall call center product. Customers using the basic PBX package must upgrade to access it.
In accounts with a call center plan, users with permission to view call logs can monitor active calls.
To monitor a call received by another user:
Dial *11 + extension_number.
(If the specified extension is currently on a call, the listener will hear the conversation in both directions.)
Our development team is planning to add whisper coaching and three-way conference features soon. This article will be updated once those features are released.
Supported Devices
