Teams are a PBX feature that group users by their departments or scenarios, allowing calls to ring simultaneously or at staggered intervals—helping prevent missed calls and ensuring smooth call traffic management

What Are Teams in Hipcall?

In your Hipcall account, you can create teams such as a sales team or a customer support team. After the welcome announcement, calls can be routed to a team, and based on your selection, they will be distributed to representatives either randomly or sequentially.

  • You can allow multiple users in the same department to receive calls simultaneously.

  • If the team is unreachable, calls can be redirected to another PBX target or looped back to the same group.

  • You can define the ring time and duration for each extension in the team to create custom routing scenarios.
