How can I create a new greeting announcement (IVR)?

In Hipcall, two audio files—one for the welcome message and one for after-hours—are available by default during initial setup. You can also upload additional audio files beyond these defaults.

How to Create a New Greeting Announcement (IVR) in Hipcall

To set up a custom IVR greeting:

  1. Go to Settings > Greeting Announcements

  1. On the top right of the page, click the New button.

  2. Fill in the following details:

    • Name of the greeting
    • Internal extension number
    • Default destination
    • Upload your audio file via the Choose File section, then click Save

To activate the uploaded audio file, don’t forget to assign it as a destination from the Phone Numbers page.
