What is call recording and how is it configured
You can record and export your calls in Hipcall. You’ll have access to past call recordings for as long as your package’s audio retention period allows.
What Is Call Recording in Hipcall?
You can record the calls you make in Hipcall. To enable call recording:
- Go to "Settings" and click General under the "Phone System" section.
- On the page that opens, activate the recording feature for incoming, outgoing, and internal calls.
You can access your recordings from the details of each call on the Communication → Calls page.
By default, past call recordings are retained for 3 months. Optionally, this retention period can be extended to 12 or 24 months.
