Firewall Configuration Guide for Using Hipcall

In most cases, you don't need to modify your firewall settings to use Hipcall smoothly.
However, certain special scenarios may require adjustments to ensure proper connectivity and avoid technical issues.
This guide outlines the necessary router and firewall configurations for Hipcall.


SIP Signaling Ports

SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is used to initiate and terminate media sessions such as voice and video.
To enable SIP signaling for Hipcall, open the following ports:

  • TCP and UDP: 5060, 5070, 8443

These ports allow voice and video communication between your devices and Hipcall servers.


RTP Audio Traffic Port Range

RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) manages real-time media streaming.
To ensure uninterrupted audio and video flow between your devices and Hipcall servers, open the following port range:

  • UDP and TCP: 16000–32000

IP Blocks

Your system should be configured to accept traffic from specific IP addresses.
Whitelisting the IP blocks used by Hipcall improves connection stability and security:

  • 31.192.211.0/24

This IP range covers Hipcall servers and must be allowed through your firewall.
