How to Forward Incoming Calls to Your Extension in Hipcall
In Hipcall, you can forward incoming calls to an internal extension (such as another user, welcome announcement, call group, voicemail, etc.) or to an external number.
How to Set Up Call Forwarding in Hipcall
If you want to define call forwarding:
- Click on your avatar in the top-right corner and go to “Profile”.
- From the left-hand menu, click on “Call Forwarding”.
- Choose when calls should be forwarded.
- Select whether calls will be forwarded to an internal extension or an external number.
- If forwarding to an external number, enter the destination number.
Note:
Call forwarding only works when the caller dials your internal number directly or reaches you via the welcome announcement. These forwarded calls will not be recorded.
Calls routed through a call group or smart routing will not trigger external forwarding.
