How do I set up the Hipcall WhatsApp integration?

Hipcall WhatsApp Business Integration

This integration allows you to:

• View and respond to incoming WhatsApp messages directly from your Hipcall panel.
• Enable users from different departments or agents to manage WhatsApp messages.
• Create a unified communication center by integrating WhatsApp with other channels (phone, email, etc.).

Important prerequisites

• You must have a verified Facebook Business account to enable WhatsApp integration.
  If your account is not verified, integration cannot proceed. Please verify your account before requesting integration.

• To check verification status, log in at business.facebook.com and visit the Business Info page.
  If your account is not verified, click "Start verification" to begin the process.

• During Facebook verification, you may be asked to provide a document proving ownership of your phone number.
  You can email the document to hello@hipcall.com.

• Once Hipcall WhatsApp integration is active, you will be logged out of WhatsApp Business on other devices.

• Since SMS is not supported, WhatsApp verification will be done via voice call.
  WhatsApp will call you and speak the verification code.
  To receive the call, your number target must be a direct extension—not a greeting.
  You can update your number target at Hipcall Numbers.

Integration steps

1. Click the link provided by Bulutfon and go to the Select another account page.

2. If you have multiple WhatsApp Business accounts, select the appropriate one.

3. Click "Continue with Facebook" and log in to your Facebook account.

4. Create a profile for WhatsApp Business.

Fill in the requested information accurately and proceed.

6. For verification, choose "Phone call" and receive your WhatsApp verification code.

7. Activation may take a few minutes. Once approved, you can start using the integration.
