Activating Hipcall – Google Chat Integration

1. Generate a Webhook URL from Google Chat

• Open Google Chat in your browser and log in.
• From the "Spaces" section, open the chat group where you want to receive notifications.
• Click the chat header and go to Apps & Integrations.

• On the opened page, click Add Webhook, give it a name (e.g., Hipcall-Deals), and save.

• Click the three dots next to the generated URL and select Copy link.

2. Activate the integration in Hipcall

• Go to Settings > Integrations.
• Click the Set up a new integration button.
• In the Google Chat section, click Install to go to the Google Chat integration setup page.

• Give your integration a name (e.g., Hipcall Deals).
• Add a description.
• Paste the webhook URL you copied from Google Chat into the URL field.

• In the Events section, choose when notifications should be sent. In this example, we selected Deal Created under Deal Events.

• Click Save to activate the integration. From now on, every time a deal is created, a notification will be sent to your Google Chat group.

3. Test the integration

• You can test it by creating a new deal.
• A notification about the created deal should appear in your Google Chat group.

If notifications are not received:

• Make sure the webhook URL is correct.
• Verify that the correct event is selected.
• If everything is configured properly but issues persist, check the integration logs from the integration details page.
