Hipcall Knowledgebase / Integrations
Elevenlabs
This article will explain how to configure SIP Trunk settings for ElevenLabs.
Creating a SIP Connection in Hipcall
- Go to Settings > Phone System > SIP Connections.
- Click the New button to open the Add SIP Connection page.
1. Connection details
- You can name the connection anything. We used ElevenLabs to avoid confusion.
- Select the number to be used for outbound calls.
- If you want to forward calls to this service, assign an internal extension. We used 1112. Calls forwarded to 1112 will be routed to ElevenLabs.
2. Login credentials
- Username: We used 90 as the number, but you can enter any value.
- Enter a strong password or generate one using the button on the right.
Note: Save the username and password. ElevenLabs will request this information.
3. Termination details
- Enter
sip:sip.rtc.elevenlabs.io:5060;transport=tcpin the termination field.
Registering the number in ElevenLabs
- Go to ElevenLabs > Conversational AI > Phone Numbers.
- Click the Import number button and select FROM SIP TRUNK.
- Label: Enter a name. We used the phone number.
- Enter the phone number with the correct country code.
The Inbound Configuration will remain unchanged. Only the Outbound Configuration needs to be updated:
- Address:
sipcs.hipcall.com - Transport Type: TCP
- Media Encryption: Disable
- SIP Trunk Username: Use the SIP username you configured in Hipcall (e.g.,
902582440012). - SIP Trunk Password: Use the SIP password you configured in Hipcall.
These credentials are from the SIP Connections section in Hipcall. They are not related to the user or number credentials. Think of them as a dedicated username and password created specifically for the ElevenLabs–Hipcall connection.
Testing the setup
To test the integration, call the internal extension you assigned during the SIP connection setup. ElevenLabs should answer the call.
For example, if you want ElevenLabs to handle calls outside working hours, go to Settings > Phone System > Numbers and set the after-hours target to the internal extension linked to the external SIP connection. In our example, this is 1234.
