How to Access Users’ SIP Information in Hipcall

Hipcall uses the SIP standard for IP phones or software. To configure IP phones or software, you need to know your SIP credentials.

How to Access a User’s SIP Information in Hipcall

To view and manage SIP credentials for a user:

  • Go to the Users section under the Phone System heading in Settings.

  • Click the Action button next to the user you want to modify, then select Phone Settings.

  • From the left-hand menu, go to the Device Settings page.

  • On the opened page, you can view the user's Hostname and SIP Username.
    To change the SIP password, click the Regenerate button at the bottom of the page.

    Note: The user will be notified via email when the password is regenerated.
